ALASKAN PAINTED SNOWSHOES AND GOLD PANS BY LOCAL ARTIST YVONNE....
YVONNE Was Born and raised in Los Angeles, she moved with 3 kids and a dog to Alaska in 1981 She then worked as a roustabout in the oil fields of Prudhoe bay and took up painting as a hobby in 1983.....
Now the painting has turned into a full time career.....She lives in the foothills of the Talkeetna mountains with no running water or electricty.
Yvonne sells her work at various gift shops shops through out Alaska, the lower 48, and Canada.
